All football fans are in luck: the launch of a new television channel dedicated entirely to football has just been announced. And it comes in a week in which we are constantly receiving top-level football news. This time, the new channel lands on the television service of some of the Spanish operators.

Which operator do you have your Internet and television service contracted with? Surely, if you like football as much as we do, you’re crossing your fingers that, in the next lines, we’ll mention your operator’s service. And no wonder! The channel that is being added to the service is TV FootballClub, which comes directly from the platform of the same name, where, with a subscription, you can access a large amount of content. But on this channel, you’ll be able to watch its content without having to pay anything extra.

The chosen operators

The channel is added to the television service that customers of operators such as Finetwork or Adamo can subscribe to, as well as other entities such as 7Play. In other words, these are those entities that offer their television package through the service provided by the company MasMedia TV.

Considering that this television package includes LaLiga Hypermotion and other football competitions, it is obvious that this novelty will also be very well received by users. After all, the MasMedia TV service has a prominent flavour of good football.

Football as a driving force of service

As we mentioned, football is extremely important in the television service offered by operators through MasMedia TV. This is confirmed by the CEO of the television company, Carlos González, who mentions that sports is one of the topics with the highest volume of demand and that generates the most interest among users. For this reason, he has expressed his satisfaction with the agreement they have signed and that will surely help to increase the satisfaction enjoyed by users who have contracted television with MasMedia TV.

It is important to note that TV FootballClub does not focus on LaLiga EA Sports matches as you might imagine, but its streaming platform has a significant presence in other types of leagues and competitions. Thus, on TV FootballClub it is possible to follow matches from the Second Federation, the Third Federation and even other categories, such as youth, cadet or alevín football. This is an excellent way to give exposure to a different type of football, to matches in which we breathe fresh air and in which, who knows, we might even see future stars of the king of sports.

Apart from all that has been said, we still need to know the in-depth content of the new channel, which we imagine will reveal more and more of its potential as the weeks go by. It is to be imagined that it will serve as a place where some of the platform’s most interesting content is broadcast, matches, summaries and other types of proposals that put football in the foreground. In addition, a particularly notable effort is intended to be made to ensure that local football takes a step forward and that it becomes more and more widely known.

All of this is excellent news for those who enjoy a passion for football, since having a new linear channel on which to watch programming dedicated to this sport is fantastic. Now it only remains to see what the users’ reactions are and to see if the leagues and competitions featured on TV FootballClub are gaining prominence.
