The Porsche 911 is one of the most iconic sports cars in history, with a history that spans multiple generations and among whose multiple versions, the Turbo has a special place. Bringing together a Porsche 911 Turbo face to face to face them in a drag race sounds like a pipe dream, but it has really happened.
We must thank the colleagues of Carwow, who have brought together seven copies of the different generations of the German model and, in addition, have had the courage to put them side by side to discover which one is faster in various drag races.
It goes without saying that, of course, the Porsche has been improving over time, so each new generation is more powerful and faster than the previous one, but the fun here is to see how they behave live.
Let’s review each of the models:
-
Porsche 911 Turbo 930: 300 hp and 412 Nm 3.3 Turbo engine, four-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive
-
Porsche 911 Turbo 964: 3.6 turbo engine with 320 hp and 450 Nm, five-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive
-
Porsche 911 Turbo 993: 3.6 biturbo engine with 408 hp and 540 Nm, six-speed manual gearbox, all-wheel drive

They all face each other in various acceleration races and also in a braking test, who do you bet on in each case?
