Fernando Alonso has a new car in his garage… and he has presented it to us.

Fernando Alonso will still have to wait a little over a month to test the new Formula 1 with which he will compete in the 2023 season of the premier class, but this will not prevent him from driving an Aston Martin in his day-to-day life. The British brand has already delivered its new street car, an Aston Martin DBX707.

Fernando Alonso’s new car, both for the track and for the street, is an Aston Martin DBX707. The British manufacturer has given the two-time world champion, his brand new signing for the next two seasons, the most aggressive version of his first SUV, the DBX.

Inside the luxurious model roars a powerful V8 4.0 biturbo engine with no less than 707 hp and 900 Nm of torque. This mechanism, together with a nine-speed automatic transmission, will allow Alonso to accelerate from zero to one hundred in just 3.3 seconds. Dream features that the pilot will surely enjoy on the road as well.

Alonso has already been able to release it and has defined it as a “dream car” in the Twitter post where he presented it, choosing his Circuito de Asturias Museum to show it. “Expectations have been exceeded,” also said the pilot, who will remain in the premier class for at least two more years, where he continues to dream of fighting for his third world title.

The Asturian has started 2023 very excited. The best example of this is that just a few hours after eating the twelve grapes, he had already changed the background of his Twitter account and had placed the Aston Martin emblem, symbolizing the start of his contract with the iconic brand. On the same January 1, his new team published the first video of him with his new colors for 2023.

The presentation of the AMR23, the F1 car that Alonso and his partner, Lance Stroll will drive, will take place on February 13 in England. Probably, a few days later, he can do his first test as a ‘shakedown’, and a couple of weeks later (February 23-25), the pre-season tests will begin in Bahrain.
