Hennessey has increased the power of the engine of the new Corvette C8 up to 708 CV, which represents an increase of 44% in power and 37% in torque.

If Hennessey Performance is known for anything, it is for increasing power to the best SUVs, pick-ups and sports cars on the market. Its latest “victim” has been the new Chevrolet Corvette C8, whose Hennessey engine has increased power to 708 hp. This means that it is now 44% more powerful and torque has been increased by 37%.

The 6.2-liter V8 engine of the eighth generation of the Chevrolet Corvette has been submitted to the care of the tuner based in Texas (United States). The supercharged LT2 block now reaches 708 horsepower and an impressive 865 Nm of torque.

Thanks to Hennessey’s H700 package, standard Corvette owners will be able to drive a car more powerful than the factory Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The latter equips the 5.5-liter V8 LT6 engine with 679 HP of power and 624 Nm of torque.

The extra power has been achieved by installing a high flow supercharger, an air induction system with an intercooler and a sports exhaust system.

For $49,950, the equivalent of around €46,600, Hennessey will also fit your Corvette C8 with a set of lightweight 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, available in three different finishes: Satin Black, Brushed Aluminum and graphite.

In addition, body graphics are available in red, silver, white, black or blue to give the bodywork of the mid-engined American sports car an extra bit of personality.

If you don’t want the best aesthetics, the H700 kit with the power upgrade costs $34,950 (32,600 euros). The tuner will install the H700 badge on the body of your Corvette and a numbered plate.

Finally, with the purchase of the Hennessey Performance kit for the new Chevrolet Corvette C8 you will get a 3-year or 36,000-mile (58,000 km) warranty, and the kit is compatible with Corvettes with coupe bodies manufactured between 2020 and 2022.
