The offer of interurban scooters for the A2 of the Asian firm is expanded with the arrival of the unexpected Zontes D350, with a more conventional and elegant aesthetic.
Based on the current M310 scooter with controversial aesthetics, which it replaces, a center tunnel GT scooter with a more fluid and conventional design is born.
It is a completely new scooter, but it retains the dimensions of the M310 as well as its comfort and good equipment.
On the front, the single small and focused headlight disappears in favor of a more conventional double torn full LED optic -manufactured by the renowned firm Osram-, although the air inlet on the front is preserved, which gives it a certain aggressiveness. A new double torn light is also installed on the tail, which integrates the turn signals, all full led.
The new single-cylinder engine derives from the M310 but now has 349 cc -4T, LC, 4V, DOHC, IE- and offers 36.7 HP, a very interesting figure, and even more torque, plenty to push its 176 kg. And it has traction control, an essential aid when rolling on wet asphalt.
In the cycle part we find a pair of 15 and 14” alloy wheels, with a 268 mm front disc brake with a 4-piston J.Juan caliper, plus another 265 mm rear disc, with Bosch ABS.
This Zontes D350 replaces the current M310, on which it is based
A fork with 41 mm bars and a double crown, more robust -new-, and a pair of shock absorbers with spring adjustment complete the pack in this section.
In terms of equipment, it incorporates a large TFT color screen with connectivity and app, larger than that of the M310, with an electrically height-adjustable windscreen deflector.
Under the seat there is space for a full-face helmet, and on the counter shield it incorporates two large lockable glove compartments, and on the left with 2 USB sockets, one Type A and the other Type C.
But there is more, because from the left hand side, which is packed with backlit buttons -the same as the M310-, we can open the seat and the lid of the 12-litre fuel tank, in addition to controlling the two available power modes, Economic and Sport that offer a new gadget.
Thus, if we have selected mode E and you must overtake, the map automatically changes to S when it exceeds 7,000 revs and, after completing the maneuver and lowering that speed, it returns to driving mode E.

There is no lack of remote key start with a proximity bracelet for emergencies -if the remote key battery runs out-, as well as the tire pressure and temperature indicator, equipment already present in the current M310.
And one last detail is that the left handle has a practical system to block it, and thus become a handbrake.
Among the accessories available there is a top case, adjustable heated grips from the same switchgear or some always practical handguards that divert the air from our grips.
The Zontes D350 is already on sale at a price of 4,787 euros with a three-year warranty and a SHAD 39 L trunk as a gift, in black -with gold rims- or silver.
