The Velolaser are state-of-the-art radars that have been used by the public entity for years. Devices that are characterized by being practically undetectable, go unnoticed by most drivers and are distributed throughout different sections of Spanish roads.
They are small and portable radars, barely 50 centimeters, placed in places where there is usually no radar of any kind. In addition, agents are not required to identify them when they are using them, unlike fixed speed cameras.
They have 4G technology and a five-hour battery, so they can be controlled from anywhere. Each of these devices costs around 14,000 euros.

Velolaser radars are very effective, as they can detect an offender passing between 15 and 50 meters, up to two lanes from their location and with a speed range between 30 and 250 km/h.

The map is updated almost in real time and is a very useful tool if you want to know the location of these speed cameras, although the best way to avoid fines is to comply with the speed limits.
