The latest scam techniques
Within the methods that cybercriminals have been using, we find some of the most used techniques in recent times. And it is that, over the years, technical support scams have evolved, as has technology. However, what they want is to steal the bank details or money of the victims once they fall into the trap of logging into their checking account from the PC.
And that is not the only method they use, they can also convince people that their bank accounts are in danger. All with the aim of stealing people’s money.

Do not reply directly to or call numbers listed in unsolicited or questionable emails. If in doubt, search for the company in question and check their official phone number.
- When a pop-up window appears on your PC screen or an error message with a phone number, please do not make the call.
- If someone calls you to tell you that your computer has a problem, and that they are from a company like Microsoft or similar, you will have to hang up.
You never have to grant anyone remote access to your computer or download any kind of software that they ask for over the phone. - You never have to give out your passwords.
