Electric and with solar panels
iEV Motors is a Danish company that has spent 18 years researching the best solution to develop urban and sustainable transport. As a result of this research, the iEVz was born, the smallest car in the world that fits through a door.
It is an electric car that works through solar panels that provide energy to the battery and that is so small that it fits through a door. It measures 1.45 meters long and only 78 centimeters wide, making it the smallest car in the world.
However, this quadricycle is built on a robotic platform that can extend the chassis up to 2.35 meters, which allows one more seat to be included in the rear, in tandem position. And it can still be lengthened further, up to 2.75 meters, to transport a load.

The iEV Z weighs just 220 kilos, thanks to its minuscule size, but also to the fact that almost the entire body is made of 3D printed parts. It has front and rear polycarbonate bumpers, large doors and power windows.
Inside, it has a seat and a dashboard that includes an instrument panel that projects the most relevant information about driving.
It is equipped with a 1 kW motor with which it can reach 45 km/h, although the maximum speed is limited to 25 km/h. The motor is powered by a 3.3 kWh battery that provides a range of about 100 kilometers.
Thanks to the solar panels, the electrical system is constantly powered, although it also needs to be connected to a charging socket. With a quick charge option, it only takes 15 minutes to recharge. With a normal system, you need three hours, according to the Danish company.
