The Vanpowers Bike City Vanture is an electric bike developed following the principles of Lego constructions.
The e-bike has received the EN 15194 certification from TÜV SÜD, one of the most valued international quality and safety tests.
Vanpowers Bike City Vanture
The City Vanture is the first assembled frame electric bike on the market.
Its creators explain that they have created the electric bike using an ancient construction technique whose origin dates back 7,000 years. It is the mortise and tenon structure, a type of carpentry used in many buildings and which, hundreds of years later, is still standing.
This technique, in addition to being safe, is highly respectful of the environment since it reduces the percentage of waste generated during the traditional process.
On sale for 1,600 euros
The TÜV SÜD certificate includes the results of the frame alignment tolerance test. The German company has certified that the chassis, safety components and electrical systems meet the requirements established for marketing in Europe.
The electric motor, installed in the rear hub, has 350W of power and allows it to reach a maximum speed of 40 km/h with five levels of assistance.
The City Vanture electric bike is sold for 1,601.95 euros. Its high-quality components include, in addition to the frame, the Tektro hydraulic disc brakes and the LCD screen from which the user views relevant information such as the remaining charge in the battery (inserted in the main tube of the chassis).
It is available in four colors (white, black, blue, red and purple). Each unit is unique as it has an engraved serial number. Offers the possibility of extending its initial 80 km of autonomy
with a second battery with which it can travel up to 150 km.
