LaLiga EA Sports returns in August! Now that we have to spend a couple of days without Euro Cup matches, the fact that the schedules for the first day of the league have already been published is fabulous news. But not only that, it is also confirmed that, together with DAZN and Movistar Plus+, Orange TV will continue to offer the matches. Very good news!

Taking into account the movements of the transfer market and the performance that some players are showing in the Euro Cup, there is no doubt that the 2024-2025 season is going to be intense. We are impatiently waiting to see how the first weeks develop and if, for the second year, Girona remains at the top. Perhaps the classic is what we can wait for more calmly, given that in the preseason Real Madrid and Barcelona will already face each other within the framework of the Soccer Champions Tour in the United States (which you can see on Movistar Plus+).

A first day full of excitement

The games are going to be divided into the channels as you can see in the image, but you can already get the idea that everything remains the same as last season. This first day will be played in five days and it is possible that the same formula will be repeated as the weeks go by. As much as some football lovers would prefer everything to be condensed into the weekend, it seems that the competition intends to maintain the longest competitive period.

Schedules for the first day of LaLiga EA Sports for the 24-25 season

Two games will be played on Thursday, August 15. First, at 7:00 p.m., Athletic Club and Getafe FC will face off in a match that can be seen on Movistar. For its part, the confrontation between Real Betis and Girona CF will begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be seen on DAZN. On Friday there will be two more games. First RC Celta against Deportivo Alavés at 7:00 p.m. on Movistar, and then UD Las Palmas against Sevilla FC at 9:30 p.m. on DAZN and GolPlay.

On Saturday, Sunday and Monday, two other games will be played per day as we indicate in this list:

  • Saturday: CA Osasuna – CD Leganés at 7:00 p.m. on DAZN, and Valencia CF – FC Barcelona on Movistar at 9:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: Real Sociedad – Rayo Vallecano at 7:00 p.m. on Movistar, and RCD Mallorca – Real Madrid on DAZN at 9:30 p.m.
  • Monday: Real Valladolid CF – RCD Espanyol de Barcelona at 7:00 p.m. on DAZN and at 9:30 p.m. on Movistar Villarreal CF – Atlético de Madrid.

The rest of the days

If you are curious, the calendar with all the days and the different league matches that will be played has already been published on the LaLiga website and you can see it see here. What has not been detailed are all the schedules as you can imagine. That leaves some hope for those who are not very happy with the arrangement of the matches on the first day. For the moment, let’s focus on what’s important: key dates like October 27, when the first classic will be played, in which the Barcelona players will visit the capital to face Real Madrid. We also look forward, of course, to many other crossings.

On the last day, the 38th, FC Barcelona will visit Athletic, Real Madrid will have a tough nut to crack in the form of Real Sociedad and there will be a very interesting end-of-season confrontation between Girona and Atlético de Madrid. Although, however, we still don’t know what the table will be like at that point, so we leave it up in the air.

Date for the first LaLiga classic in its 24-25 season

To watch all the matches you can rely on the Movistar and DAZN services, while Orange TV also benefits from this due to the agreement they have with the Telefónica operator. In addition to this, you will have already seen that some matches will be free-to-air through GolPlay, which means you can access them from any television. In keeping with tradition, football fans who like to watch it in the bar will be able to do so if their establishment has contracted the specialised services for hospitality. In this regard, there are more options, such as Avatel, which also offers the LaLiga Bares service.

Whichever way you choose to watch LaLiga football on EA Sports, it’s clear that it’s going to be a high-flying season. Real Madrid will try to keep their title and, judging by what we’ve seen, FC Barcelona will go all out with a radical change in their coaching team. In addition, surprises are still expected in the ranks of the Catalans.
