With these two unique creations, the Italian brand pays homage to its legendary naturally aspirated 12-cylinder engine, which has powered its top-of-the-range models.

There are only a few weeks left to discover the first hybrid model from that dream factory that for some is Sant’Agata Bolognese. But, while that happens, Lamborghini says goodbye to the atmospheric V12 with two one-offs: Invincible and Authentic.

With these two unique creations, the Italian brand pays homage to its legendary naturally aspirated 12-cylinder engine, which has powered its top-of-the-range models.

Specifically, these two one-offs pay tribute to three masterpieces: the Sesto Elemento, characterized by a large rear wing, the Reventón, with its unique aeronautical style, and the Veneno, which takes the search for aerodynamic perfection to the extreme.

The first, Lamborghini Invencible, is a coupe and the second, Lamborghini Autentica, is a roadster. Both have been designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile, highlighting the brand’s DNA, and represent Lamborghini’s exclusivity and customization, involving the customer from the outset to create bespoke models.

“The V12 engine is one of the pillars of our history and the success of our brand. This is Lamborghini’s way of paying tribute to the naturally aspirated V12, with two one-offs that perfectly represent our concept of excellence in customization” , said Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of the Italian manufacturer.

The Lamborghini Invincible and Autentica have been designed as the quintessence of the utmost creativity using the V12 platform, reflecting design cues that have contributed to the company’s iconic significance, as well as a track-inspired sporty character.

Both models are built on the same carbon fiber monocoque chassis as the Lamborghini Aventador, together with a full carbon body that incorporates design and technologies proven successful by Lamborghini in competition.

The bonnet is the same as the Essenza SCV12, along with the pronounced front splitter with uprights designed to manage airflow in the most efficient way.

A well-known modern Lamborghini design motif, the hexagon blends harmoniously yet strikingly into the car’s distinctive visual elements, starting with the front and rear light cluster enhanced by hexagonal LED lights.

On the hood, the air intakes are reminiscent of those of the Sesto Elemento, and the same details are repeated in the triple central exhaust with Inconel tips: a special high-performance steel alloy derived from the aerospace industry.

An interior as exclusive as the exterior

We go inside and in both models we find an exclusive cabin marked by clean lines, a minimalist carbon fiber dashboard, with specific graphics on each model, enhanced by 3D-printed hexagonal air vents and no instrumentation on the console.

On the one hand, the Lamborghini Invincible is characterized by the contrast between red (Rosso Atala) and black (Nero Cosmus), the thresholds and door frames in carbon, two hexagonal tricolors on the scissor doors, in homage to the Italian flag, custom embroidery in Rosso Atala and levers in Rosso Efecto.

For its part, the Autentica features a bodywork in Grigio Titans with details in Matte Black and decoration in Giallo Auge, a color that is repeated on the brake calipers and on the main aerodynamic elements, such as the front splitter and rear spoiler.

The profile of the car is unique thanks to the two screens with integrated roll bars, inspired by the open-top racing cars of the past. The open-air interior sports elegant Giallo Taurus embroidery, with contrasting Nero Ade leather upholstery and two-tone Alcantara Nero Cosmus and Grigio Octans.

Invincible and Authentic Lamborghini

The Invincible and Autentica are the last cars made by Lamborghini to be equipped with a longitudinally rear-mounted 6.5-litre 12-cylinder engine before the transition to the hybrid era.

Lamborghini’s latest V12 delivers 780PS and 720Nm of torque at 6,750rpm, mated to a seven-speed ISR gearbox, all-wheel drive and Lamborghini Dynamic Steering all-wheel drive system.
