Probably the most anticipated premiere of the month will come to us right at the end. Love & Death arrives April 27 with a riveting drama, written by David E. Kelley and directed by Lesli Linka Glatter. Elizabeth Olsen, who has gained worldwide fame in her role as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch, now faces a difficult role as Candy Montgomery, an American housewife accused of killing Betty Gore, the wife of the mistress her. She rounds out the all-star cast with Jesse Plemons as Allan Gore, her lover.

The Spanish flavor comes from the hand of Hugo Silva, protagonist of Pollos sin cabeza. In this series, he plays Alberto Martín Ruiz, a former soccer player and current player representative whom everyone calls “Beto”, who has just established himself on his own, setting up his own representation agency. It opens on April 28.

Movies and documentaries in April 2023

Everybody Does It is a film directed by Hugo Martín Cuervo that you can see on HBO Max starting April 21. The hotel owner is on the verge of ruin and is willing to get out of that situation whatever it takes.

Finally, that same day we will also have the documentary El Crítico. This original TCM documentary arrives on the platform after passing through the San Sebastián Festival.
