More and more people are concerned about their well-being and for that they depend on the use of different devices. The mobile phone becomes a device that simply collects the data that others receive, which are increasingly sophisticated. But these gadgets are increasingly becoming more discreet, as is the case with the Luna Ring, a new smart ring that records up to 70 different types of data.
There are many companies that have put different devices on the market with which users can measure their state of health, and Noise now comes with a proposal that aims to collect data from your day-to-day life through a simple ring with which you will know precise data from your day-to-day life.
A chassis prepared for everything
The construction of any device is determined by the type of use that is going to be given to it. A very common example is that of mobile phones, where the conditions in which it is handled make some opt for a traditional model and others for a rugged one. The change is substantial, especially if you are one of those who continually drops your mobile or clumsiness causes it to suffer damage from water.
This also happens in wearables, those gadgets that provide more functions than the traditional accessories they replace. And the case of smart rings is no less, as evidenced by the Noise firm with the arrival of its new accessory, which it has called Luna Ring.
This is a smart ring that is made of 3-grade titanium to give it more durability. It also has a thin layer of glass that makes the touch much more pleasant and soft, since it is designed to be worn and you hardly notice it on. In fact, you won’t have to take it off to charge it in a total of seven days, although this process hardly takes an hour. You won’t have to worry about water either, since it is resistant up to 50 meters.
Up to 70 functions to collect metrics
One of the things that Noise brags about is that his smart ring is about his capabilities. It may not have a screen where you can see the progress of your walk, but the company claims that it is accurate in its metrics. In addition, its sensors are designed to be used on all skin types and it helps you take your health more seriously with notifications that you will receive on your mobile.
These will be sent thanks to its data collection system and its algorithm, which is what makes this data so accurate. Thanks to its 3-axis accelerometer, its smart sensors aligned with the finger, and its PPG sensor, it is capable of capturing heart rate, your sleep, body temperature, and oxygen levels.
Price and availability
The Luna Ring is compatible with all smartphones as long as they have Android 6 or iOS 14 onwards. At the moment, the company has not yet confirmed its price and departure time on its website, so we will have to wait to verify it.
