The operators of the MásMóvil Group that have the Agile TV television service are in luck, since, from today June 20, the TV platform launches new channels and more than 3,500 on-demand content. And all thanks to the new agreement that Agile Content and AMC Networks International have signed to improve their television offer.
The TV platform that can be found in different operators of the MásMóvil Group, such as Yoigo, Virgin telco or MásMóvil itself, begins to have more channels as of today. In this way, all customers who have this television service through one of these operators, from today have new channels without having to pay more in their combined rates.
AMC channels and on-demand content
From now on, when contracting Agile TV from one of the MásMóvil Group operators (Yoigo, MÁSMÓVIL, Virgin Telco, Guuk, Embou or the Netllar group, among others), customers will enjoy up to 15 new channels from the group AMC Networks International Southern Europe, one of the main references in terms of pay television content. Therefore, the arrival of new channels is confirmed free of charge for its users.
This new expansion of channels is due to the fact that Agile Content, a Spanish company and provider of transmission and Internet television solutions, has signed an agreement with AMC Networks International Southern Europe (AMCNISE), ‘the largest producer and distributor of thematic channels in Spain ‘, as announced by the television platform through a statement.
Therefore, starting today, pay TV customers through one of these operators can now enjoy the new content offer. It must be taken into account that up to 15 new AMC channels are being expanded, although this is not the only novelty. Basically, because more than 3,500 on-demand content are also released on AMC SELEKT. A new improvement that manages to give a greater thematic variety for its users and, best of all, at no additional cost to customers.
More than 100 channels on Agile TV
The list of new channels includes the following options: Canal Hollywood, AMC, SundanceTV, XTRM, DARK, Somos, Canal HISTORIA, AMC BREAK, AMC CRIME, Odisea, ¡BUENVIAJE!, Canal Cocina, Canal Decasa, Enfamilia and SELEK. In this way, the operators of the MásMóvil Group with Agile TV will now have an offer with more than 100 channels available.
And in addition to AMC’s new alternatives after the Agile TV deal, it should be remembered that customers already enjoyed a wide range of options. For example, they already had access to popular channels like FOX, AXN, AXN Movies, Warner TV, TCM, Disney Jr., National Geographic, Discovery, and COSMO, among other options.
In fact, Agile TV offers more than 20,000 hours of content through its channel catalog. And we must also bear in mind that it combines DTT in Spain with Premium channels, third-party applications and even games.
