After many years with us, FusiĆ³n has given way to miMovistar. Movistar’s new convergent offer has come to offer customers the possibility of having a personalized offer based on blocks, so building our miMovistar rate is very similar to building a house. This means that everyone can take home only what interests them, with the consequent savings. However, there is a service that has become worse for miMovistar clients compared to Fusion clients.

It is true that this service is not one of the most popular of all those offered by Movistar, but it is quite striking that the worse conditions are for the clients of the recently launched miMovistar than for those of Fusion.

Multi+, more expensive for meMovistar

The service we are referring to is called Multi+. This television service allows you to have two televisions at home with a signal to watch Movistar Plus+, in such a way that each one can independently watch the content they want. This service is very interesting, especially for large households or families, since it is not always easy to agree to watch a football match or a certain movie, for example.

Multi+ (previously known as Multiroom) enables much more than simply simultaneously and independently viewing content on two different TVs. One of the best things it offers is that if we leave a movie or a chapter of one of our favorite series on a television halfway, we can pause it and go to the second television to see it where we left it. In addition to this, it also allows you to schedule recordings, enjoy already recorded content and even rent movies.

Now, going on to talk about the contracting conditions is where we will see the differences between contracting this Multi+ service with miMovistar and with FusiĆ³n. If we look at the latter, the monthly fee for the service is 0 euros per month, with an installation fee of 50 euros and, in addition, another 60 euros more for the additional decoder that we will need for the second television. This applies to all the Total Fusion rates and to those mentioned below: Fusion+ Premium, Fusion+ Extra Premium, Fusion+ Total Premium, Fusion+ Total Football, Fusion+ Total Leisure and Fusion+ Total Fiction. If the fusion is by satellite, the monthly fee will continue to be 0 euros, but the installation fee goes up to 72.60 euros.

Turning now to miMovistar’s contracting conditions for this Multi+, we are going to see how there are many similarities with respect to Fusion. In fact, the installation fee is also 50 euros, and the necessary additional decoder also costs 60 euros. What is the difference then? Simple, miMovistar customers will have to pay a monthly fee of 7.86 euros to use this service.

It should be noted that this fee is not only for miMovistar, and it is also that Fusion customers with packs below Fusion Total have to pay it. Specifically, these are the packs that have this monthly payment:

  • Core Fusion
  • Fusion Starts
