The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo is living history of the automobile, and its story is as intense and captivating as that of a novel.
And we are talking about one of the great cars that Japan has brought, a real “giant killer”, if you allow us the expression. This model has captivated generation after generation, without disappointing, or not too much, the most purists and fans. A car that has a great past in competition and a powerful commercial life. Well, in its two aspects it has stood out.
It was not from the beginning that love for him arose. This car was little by little, all four-wheel fans fell in love with the passage of time. The life of the Lancer would begin in 1973, and its production would be canceled by Mitsubishi in 2017. In this way, in all these years we have seen Lancers of all kinds pass. In sedan, family, coupé or hatchback bodies, the brand trusted it for all formats.
But what made the Lancer famous was the Evolution saga. This made him famous and placed him where he has not moved in several decades. A performance version of the Lancer that marked the history of Japanese sports cars, and that initially, with the Evo I, was born exclusively for the Japanese market. This car had a configuration that would be present in the Evo throughout its life: 2-liter turbocharged engine with permanent four-wheel drive.

In the last edition we would get to enjoy 307 hp with a special version baptized as “Final Edition ”.
