Fantic presents by surprise, as a preview of its 2023 bikes at the EICMA in Milan, the new Caballero 700. A kind of Yamaha-based twin-cylinder scrambler. And it is that it is animated nothing less than the popular and prestigious CP2 engine of the Yamaha Ténéré 700, MT-07 and Tracer 700.

The first two-cylinder Fantic to hit the market could only be a Caballero, a very important model for the brand both in the past and in the present. And of which we predict an excellent future in view of its characteristics.

The liquid-cooled, 689cc, 4-valve, double overhead cam engine delivers a maximum power of 75PS and torque of 68Nm. More than enough to enjoy driving a motorcycle with his philosophy.

In addition, it comes equipped with traction control, three driving modes (road, off road and customizable), and Continental-brand cornering ABS.

For its part, the instrumentation is 3.5” color TFT with a circular shape, and has bluetooth connectivity. While the optical groups are Full Led.

As for the cycle part, the frame is a steel monobeam and the aluminum swingarm. The inverted fork with 45 mm diameter tubes is signed by Marzocchi; and 330mm front and 245mm rear discs, plus radial caliper, by Brembo.

The declared weight of the New Fantic Caballero 700 is very tight, standing at only 180kg. Which makes one think of a light, manageable and fun motorcycle. But, also with a remarkable autonomy to have a fuel tank of 14 liters of capacity.

It will be available, when its commercialization begins around April 2023, in two decorations: red and blue. And its price will be around €10,000. With it Fantic completes a range that covers from 125 cc to 700, passing through 500 cc
