Features of the KTM 890 Duke GP
Let’s remember some of the key points of the streetfghter of the Austrian firm. It is animated by a twin-cylinder engine in parallel, LC8, which displays a maximum power of 118 hp and a torque of 92 Nm.
The chassis is tubular steel with the supporting motor, and combines rigidity, precision and manageability. Meanwhile, the subframe houses the airbox, and the swingarm is made of cast aluminum with visible reinforcing ribs. The suspensions are WP in both trains, with hydraulic regulation in the fork of 43 mm diameter bars, and hydraulic and spring preload in the shock absorber. An interesting detail is that it incorporates a steering damper as standard.
The optical groups are Full Led, and the screen is multicolored TFT. Through it, all the latest generation electronics that were already mounted on the KTM 890 Duke R are managed. We find four different riding modes (Sport, Street, Rain and Track); MTC traction control; Quickshifter + (optional); MSR engine brake regulation; Supermoto mode to disable rear wheel ABS; and stability control with ABS cornering MSC.
In short, the KTM 890 Duke GP 2022 is confirmed as a deliciously sporty naked, but it does not give up conventional use if desired.
