Concept bikes are more and more surprising. Well, the one that we bring you today to the solomoto.es website could perfectly be among the ‘top ten’ of the most eccentric. This is the so-called Nu’Clear, a bulletproof motorcycle. And there the thing does not stop, because it can be animated by a combustion or electric motor. And there is much more…
Its creator is Mikhail Smolyanov, who has designed it on behalf of the Berlin LBM (Leo Brutal Motorcycle) studio. The idea was to create a motorcycle that had nothing to hide, in the broad sense of the word as can be seen. It is an exclusive motorcycle within exclusivity. Quite a challenge within the universe of two wheels.
The name of the artifact, Nu’Clear, should not mislead you. Not that it’s powered by nuclear energy. It is actually a pun on the terms new and clear in English.
The bodywork is made largely of bulletproof glass panels, quite a detail if we think of it as some superhero’s next bike. The tires and some other component are made of this same material. Like the fuel tank, which through Led lighting allows you to see the fuel level.
The chassis is made of steel, with a double beam that runs in parallel and is anchored at both ends to a double-arm swingarm. One for the rear suspension and one for the front. Not for originality.
As for the engine, it can be twin-cylinder boxer type, or electric. And the gearbox has been replaced by a hydraulic type transmission.
In short, the Nu’Clear is a concept bike that goes beyond being a bulletproof bike. With a combination of classic design and extreme futurism, it catches our attention at least.
