The pilots, united, ask for the end of the war.
Sebastian Vettel was the first driver on the Formula 1 grid to protest the war in Ukraine and to ensure that he would not compete this year in Russia, long before the race in the country was canceled. Now, in the F1 tests in Bahrain, the German from Aston Martin wears a nice helmet in which he calls for the end of the war.
On the helmet there are numerous details and elements with which the four-time world champion calls for an end to a war that is leaving so many victims. Two lines with the colors of the Ukrainian flag, blue and yellow, run through the German’s helmet, mainly white, the symbolic color of peace.
On one of the sides we can see a white dove with an olive branch in its beak, another of the symbols of peace, while on the other side the words “No War” appear, in which the first “O” is a sunflower in the colors of the Ukrainian flag, with the hashtag #RacingUnited just below.

Below, the flags of all the countries of the world have been placed, appealing to the union between the nations to stop this war. At the top, also next to the Ukrainian flag that runs through the helmet, you can read a part of the lyrics of the song “Imagine” by John Lennon, a true anthem for peace.
The helmet has been designed by Jens Munser Design, fully customized following the tastes and requests of Sebastian Vettel. The German, on previous occasions and in places where LGTBI rights are violated, also wore a helmet in support of equality.
In Bahrain, where the second round of pre-season testing takes place this week, the drivers met on Wednesday to call for an end to the war on the straight of the circuit. “No War” could be read on a large banner.
