As of March 17, a price increase will come to DAZN, going from costing 9.99 euros per month or 99.99 per year to 12.99 euros per month or a single annual payment of 129.99 euros. An increase that does not contemplate the price that it will cost to see LaLiga on the platform. The DAZN content offer has been increasing since the streaming service landed in our country in 2019. Last December 2021 we learned about the results of the auction for the audiovisual rights of LaLiga, awarded for 4,950 million euros to Movistar Plus+ and DAZN. The blue operator would broadcast 5 games per day, plus 3 full days exclusively. In the case of DAZN, the broadcast would be another 5 games per day, however, the latest news suggests that Telefónica is finalizing an agreement to keep all the cake again. DAZN confirmed a few weeks ago that “fans who are not interested in LaLiga will have the option to keep their subscription plan at the same price. Those who are interested in LaLiga will be able to make a change of plan with a higher cost that will be communicated later”, so the price increase from March 17 has no relation to the broadcasting rights of LaLiga.
