Bad news for many television subscribers of various operators. AXN and AXN Movies, two channels with a lot of cinema, say goodbye to the catalog of different TV services. Specifically, of all those who have opted for Agile TV as a channel provider.
A before and after, this is what it will be like for many clients of these operators who enjoyed several hours a day of the best cinema through these television channels. And it is not that it is a temporary cessation, but that they are saying goodbye to several operators, as the company AXN Spain itself has announced through its profile on X.
On the AXN side, it is more designed for a young adult audience that is fond of movies, action and adventure. All types of nationally and internationally successful films and series are broadcast. And on the AXN Movies side, subscribers will no longer be able to enjoy a wide selection of quality films with a wide variety of genres.
Operators leave with Agile TV
As much as you want to continue watching AXN and AXN Movies through Agile TV, now is the time to say goodbye. Directly, and from its profile on X, AXN Spain wanted to announce it in the following way:
«We will soon say goodbye to Agile TV. Thank you for having been with us these years. It has been wonderful to “sneak” into your house and offer you moments of emotion and action in the purest AXN style.
For several years, these two channels have been available on many operators in Spain. And it must be taken into account that they were present through Agile TV in these telephone companies: Euskaltel, Racctel+, Virgin Telco, R Cable, Telecable, Yoigo, MasMovil, Guuk, Sweno, Netlar, Embou and Parlem. More than anything, because these are the operators that use this television provider to market a TV package to their customers. And the curious thing is that during their announcement, they highlight that “if you want to continue enjoying AXN, you can find us in the rest of the operators.”
Which operators is it maintained on?
For now, if you take a look at the catalog of channels from companies like MasMovil, Yoigo, Telecable… you can see that they continue to appear. Even if you take a look at the channel grid that appears on the Agile TV website, these two movie dials are still shown as available. However, they will soon disappear from the grid of these operators that offer TV through this provider.
So this news affects a good number of telecos that are part of MasOrange, formerly also known as the MasMovil Group. However, there are telecoms that will still continue to enjoy these two channels. As is the clear example of Orange TV, Vodafone TV or Movistar Plus+, among other companies. So through these operators and their respective TV services, you can still enjoy the content of these two channels.
