To celebrate the double title won in MotoGP and SBK, by ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia and Álvaro Bautista, Ducati put up for sale 260+260 units of its Ducati Panigale V4 R, called World Champion Replica. Once the sale was opened, in a few hours the 520 units had an owner, and that the price was not exactly low (€63,000).
Half of the motorcycles reproduced the decoration of Bagnaia’s Desmosedici and the other half were decorated like Bautista’s Panigale.
In addition to the decoration, these bikes have a special single-seater tail, Rizoma adjustable footrests, Brembo Stylema R calipers with MCS pump, Akrapovic exhaust and SBK screen. There are various carbon fiber body calipers. In addition, on the steering clamp there is a plate with the serial number and the name of this exclusive model. In the deposit there is the signature of Bautista or Bagnaia in his own handwriting.
They are delivered with kits for the license plate holder and mirror removal circuit, as well as dedicated packaging, a special case and Ducati+ data analyzer (DDA+). All the features here.
An excellent year for Ducati, in terms of titles and sales, as expressed by Francesco Milicia, VP Global Sales & After Sales at Ducati: “2022 has been an incredible year for Ducati both on the track and in the market, confirming a continuous integration and transfer of technology and skills between series production and racing that is unmatched in the world of two wheels.”
“We thought that the best way to share the successes of 2022 with the most passionate Ducatistas was to provide them with exclusive and numbered bikes, individually signed by ‘Pecco’ and Álvaro. At this time, when our brand is stronger than ever and projected into the future, we also wanted to pay tribute to our history, recalling with both replicas the foundation of Ducati dating back to 1926.” (That is why 260 units of each one have been manufactured).
