When you have millions of followers on Youtube, it is normal to be asked all kinds of questions. Another thing is that the protagonists want to answer… El Rubius has been asked many times about his car and he only answered a few months ago and for one reason: he was about to change it. In passing, he explained why he prefers the automatic transmission to the manual.
In the video he tells that he is about to sell his 2021 Lexus RC F, in pearly white; that when he bought it he opted for the hybrid version and that the mechanics were one of the reasons why he had decided to change it.

During the sequence, the famous youtuber tells that the Lexus is his first car, that he bought it shortly after getting his driving license and that if he did not opt for a more powerful model it was for safety reasons. “I had heard stories of kids, many youtubers, who had crashed them,” says El Rubius.
He doesn’t say what his next car will be, but he would care if it was a Chevrolet Camaro, a Hummer, a Tesla Roadster or a DeLorean (he saw this one at a wedding).
In the video, El Rubius explains that it is not only that he prefers cars with automatic transmission to manual ones, it is that he can only drive the first ones because the permit was obtained with a vehicle of this type (in case you do not know, if you take the exam with an automatic car they put a code on your license that prevents you from driving manual cars).
“I want a car to be like the GTA, give it the command and go forward and again and go backwards,” says the youtuber who has no intention of obtaining permission for manuals because the lever seems too complicated …
He also says that he has a certain “trauma” with rear-wheel drive cars, in this case for a day when he went to test a Ford Mustang with his father. He still hadn’t gotten his driver’s license and shortly after leaving the dealership the driver took a sharp turn and the car began to skid.
