It is the news of the day in the audiovisual and streaming sector. Max lands in Spain and replaces HBO Max, also within the television packages that various operators have been offering in the country. In the case of Orange, the French company has also communicated how the transition will affect its TV offer, and has recalled in which Orange television packages we can access Max content.

Max’s offer is integrated into the Orange Entertainment Center, being available in three of the operator’s Love rates, which vary in the other streaming platforms that also include whether they are focused on film and series fiction or on sports content. The Love rates are the combinations of fiber, mobile lines and television of the French operator.

Of the 10 Love rates from Orange, these are the three that include Max as of May 21:

  • Love Cinema and Series Total 4: 1 Gbps Fiber, 4 mobile lines with infinite gigabytes, more than 90 channels and Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Max for 130 euros per month.
  • Love Fútbol Total 4: all the content of Love Cine and Series Total 4 plus DAZN and Max for 168 euros per month.
  • New Love Cine and Series 2 customers: 1 Gbps fiber, 2 mobile lines with infinite gigabytes, more than 90 channels and Netflix with advertising and Disney+, being able to choose a third platform: Amazon Prime or Max, for 90 euros per month. This rate has a duration of 12 months.

According to the article published by Orange on its blog, current users of the Cinema and Series 2 rate will not have access to Max, specifying that they will be the “new customers”, who “will now be able to choose between the services of Netflix, Disney+ with Amazon Prime or Max to design the audiovisual offer they prefer.

New Orange Love rates.

In addition, the current Total rates are going to change their conditions for new customers, either in content offered or in price, since Orange warns: «The current Total 4 rates will no longer be available for contracting as of May 21. Current customers will be able to keep their rate unchanged or migrate to the new rate with Max if they wish,” they indicate. Therefore, it is not entirely clear whether users of Total 4 packages will have to pay an add-on to add Max to their packages, given that they have to migrate to the new rate.

Only in Full HD quality

Those who already have a Max account will be able to associate it with their Love rate, but to be able to enjoy it with Orange it will have to be activated. You will be able to watch Max from the 4K decoder or from the Orange TV multi-device application, with which you can watch the content on your smartphone, tablet, web or Smart TV.

The Max plan included in the mentioned rates is the standard one, so users will not have access to Max’s premium benefits such as 4K quality, Dolby Atmos sound or HDR and Dolby Vision technologies. If you are interested in hiring Max both individually and to later associate him with your Love rate, you can do so from this link.
