National television operators receive this Thursday, December 15, 2022, the new Enfamilia channel, owned by AMC Networks and whose programming includes a variety of genres: cinema, series, gastronomy, decoration, documentaries and children’s content.
If you are a Movistar Plus+, Vodafone TV, Orange TV, Telecable, R, Euskaltel or Jazztel customer, this week your content offer will grow with a new proposal focused on the whole family.
New Enfamilia channel
AMC Networks, who are already responsible for a large number of pay television channels such as AMC Crime, AMC Break, Canal Historia, Canal Odisea or XTRM, will launch this coming Thursday Enfamilia, a new channel that is being launched together with the Fundación San Pablo CEU University.
Its slogan “A channel for everyone” makes it quite clear what the objective of the channel is, to which its own name puts the descriptive icing on the cake. With a varied programme, it aims to be the meeting point for the whole family, from the smallest of the house to the grandparents.
Contents and availability in operators
With more than 60 series and 800 programs, Enfamilia’s programming has been divided into thematic slots. From Monday to Friday, Enfamilia hosts two hours of children’s content first thing in the day in the Panda Enfamilia strip. Later, seven and a half hours of lifestyle programs (cooking, decoration, beauty and healthy habits) between mornings and afternoons; four hours of documentaries in the afternoons; and six hours of movies and series in prime time.
For weekends, a similar structure is followed, with children’s fiction and documentaries in the morning; decoration, series and gastronomy in the afternoon; and movies and series at night. In addition, the channel will have more than 1,000 programs available on demand.
This channel will premiere exclusively in the coming months the remastered version of “Doctor in Alaska”; documentaries such as “Great Britain: Animals to the Rescue” or “Rescue Center in Malawi”; series like “Sister Angela’s girls”, “Look for me in Paris”, “Theodosia” or “Heartland”; movies like “Pelé, the birth of a legend” or “Robbery” or the new episodes of “Masha and the Bear”.
