The Televés CoaxData Series introduces CTTR technology as an alternative to the current FTTR. With it, it aims to help the professional sector improve its connectivity without the need to paralyze the activity or make a large financial investment, becoming an interesting option to meet the needs of the current market.

Televes announced just a few hours ago the arrival of the CTTR technology (Coaxial To The Room) inside your CoaxData Series. A solution that allows the professional sector to update their networks and transform their connectivity, adapting it to current needs, without requiring a large investment. To achieve this, it takes advantage of existing coaxial TV cabling and converts it into an Ethernet network capable of reaching up to 1.7 Gbps with up to 64 connection points.

The Spanish company, leader in the sector of electronic infrastructures in buildings and homes, takes a step forward by offering companies the opportunity to adapt your connectivity without this affecting its daily operations. Since it is not necessary to stop the activity to carry out the update.

A cheaper, more efficient and simplified alternative

The CTTR technology that the CoaxData Series incorporates from now on is presented as an alternative and simplified to the current FTTR technology (Fiber To The Room). A new option available, aimed at the professional public, that improves accessibility to the latest generation networks.

Televés seeks with the new CoaxData series offer companies the possibility of enjoying a technology that stands out for its flexibility and ease of implementation. Since the Spanish company guarantees a smooth and easy transition with which to adapt our connections to current needs without this implying having to replace the current installation.

By taking advantage of existing coaxial television cabling, the need to spend a certain amount of time removing the current infrastructure is eliminated. In this way, the time that has to be spent updating the network is considerably reduced.

How it works

The CoaxData Series uses an architecture Point to Multipoint (P2MP), which means that a single master node can control multiple end nodes. This structure allows the network to adapt to the different coaxial cabling configurations that already exist and offers us great flexibility to obtain a completely customized solution.

Thanks to the fact that it allows a connection of up to 64 points in a single network, the CoaxData Series can be adapted to the needs of different types of companies through a more economical solution than the rest of the options present on the market.

With the CTTR technology announced by Televés, there are no longer reasons to take our coaxial cable connection to an ultra-fast Ethernet network to respond to the changing needs that businesses currently have in terms of connectivity.
