We don’t know how divine yet, but the 2023 Triumph Street Triple range suggests a high degree of fun that’s close to glory.
The fact is that the English brand has worked hard to renew its mid-range of sports nakeds and the result is obvious, some Street sharper and more incisive than ever.
The starting point is the most logical, they all derive from a new power plant, the one used in the Moto2 category. It is an improved version of the 765 cc three-cylinder that is now capable of offering 120 hp of maximum power in the new Street R and 130 hp in the RS and Moto2 Edition models, as well as torque that is increased in all models up to the 80 Nm.
From that essential premise, the Hinckley firm has built three versions, dressing it in its best clothes.
Street Triple 765R
Its ergonomics have been improved for greater agility and speed, with the front slightly lower and the rear slightly higher, in addition to mounting a wider handlebar.
As for the electronics, the traction control has been optimized for curves and has more dynamic driving modes, Road, Rain, Sport and Rider, the latter configurable. There is no lack of a bidirectional quick shift type change, anti-wheelie control and a slipper clutch.
The suspensions in this case are signed by Showa, 41 mm inverted fork and fully adjustable rear shock. The brakes are Brembo monobloc and it has the invaluable help of an ABS cornering.
Street Triple 765RS
The RS 2023 version adds, in addition to the novelties seen in the R, front brakes with Brembo Stylema calipers, as well as a multi-adjustable Öhlins STX40 rear monoshock absorber.
As for the driving modes, the RS adds a fifth, the Track mode, specially designed for use on the circuit. And on a practical level, it launches a new 5” color TFT screen equipped with complete connectivity.
Finally, this version uses a double headlight equipped with daytime running lights (DRL) of characteristic design.
Street Triple Moto2 Edition
Limited to just 765 pieces in each of its two color schemes (yellow or white), this Street represents the pinnacle of the British mid-range.
Prepared for a more sporty and radical driving, it uses exclusive lower and collected clip-on handlebars to offer the most racing position possible. In its cycle part, it mounts a fully adjustable 43 mm Öhlins fork and monoshock absorber from the same brand with independent reservoir.
Sharing general features with the RS, this exclusive edition also employs carbon fiber bodywork, as well as sporting the official Moto2 logos, TFT panel start-up screen with Moto2 animation and the serial number engraved on the handlebar clamp. .
The price of the new Triumph Street Triple 2023 family starts from the 10,645 euros that are requested for the R version, up to 15,895 euros for the Moto2 Edition, going through the 13,195 euros at which the RS is listed.
