At the recent EICMA in Milan we were able to see the new Velocifero 2023 range. It is not a particularly well-known brand in Spain in the motorcycle environment, but it carries a great tradition.
The Italian-Chinese company has a wide range of combustion and electric models for the little ones. Also a very complete offer of high quality and technologically advanced electric bicycles and scooters. And among the motorcycles, which cover several segments, the arrival of three electric ones in the markets where they are sold stands out. Which are spread over different countries in Asia, Europe and America.
The Velocifero was designed by Renzo Nieri, creator of the original Italjet Dragster, no less. Remember that last year a new Dragster 125 and 200 was presented, about which you have complete information at solomoto.es. And at the last EICMA Italjet presented its future and spectacular Italjet Dragster 500GP and Dragster #e01 Electric.
The Velocifero Race X draws attention for its sporty and futuristic appearance, in combination with mixed tires that bring it closer to neoretro and scrambler motorcycles. It produces a nominal power of 5000 W and a torque of 220 Nm. The battery has a nominal voltage of 72 V and a capacity of 4.32 KWh. It takes 4 hours to fully charge from scratch, and then offers an approximate autonomy of 115 km. The weight of the Race X is 126 kg. It is capable of reaching a top speed of 120 km/h, and would be equivalent to a 125 cc motorcycle.
The cycle part shines at a great height. Aluminum chassis, inverted fork, double 275 mm front brake disc with radial calipers, full Led headlights, 5″ TFT instrumentation, 17″ front wheel and 15″ rear wheel, etc.
The Beach Mad Sport has somewhat inferior characteristics. Its nominal power is 3000 W and the torque is 150 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 2.08 kWh and also fully charges in 4 hours. Of course, its autonomy is 70 km, while the maximum speed is 70 km/h. It is very light, and only weighs 92 kg.
Its super wide tires, 230 mm and 10”, attract the most attention. The chassis is made of steel, the 5” TFT instrumentation and the conventional front fork.
Finally, highlight the Velocifero Oliver. It is a work scooter, designed for the transport of packages. Both in the huge rear grill and in the front. The characteristics of its motor and battery are very similar to those of the Velocifero Beach Mad Sport. But it changes everything else.
It features a steel chassis, narrow tires, a flat floor and an alternative front suspension with a side shock.
