New beast in sight! This is the Hennessey VelociRaptor 600 Sherco Edition, a car that includes two motorcycles. Yes, as you read it, two motorcycles so you can enjoy the off-road world together. The Texas-based hypercar builder and tuner is launching a special edition of the all-new third-generation Ford F-150 Raptor, tossing it some extra power and a pair of Sherco 300 Enduro motorcycles.
Hennessey Performance has upgraded the twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 engine by adding an upgraded air induction system, a high-capacity wastegate intercooler and an optimized engine management system to deliver new power figures. The model now declares no less than 566 hp at 6,000 rpm and 911 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. What do you think?
The goal set on the VelociRaptor was to get 0-100 km/h to around 4.2 seconds, and the quarter mile to be completed in 12.9 seconds. The model comes standard with a five-link rear suspension, 24-inch coil springs and sport shock absorbers with which it guarantees great performance on the road and on the ground. We can also include 20-inch Hennessey wheels, up to 37-inch all-terrain tires or a suspension leveling kit.
Speaking of the Sherco Edition bikes, customers can choose between a 300 SE two-stroke version or the 300 SEF four-stroke. Additionally, these bikes feature upgraded radiators, rear rotor guards, and skid plates. In addition, they receive more complete equipment. As usual, Hennessey has an official guarantee of three years or 36,000 miles.
