Vodafone has a television service that you probably didn’t know about and that you can activate for free

Vodafone offers its customers a wide range of products that they can contract through its portfolio of rates on their website. But in addition to offering mobile-only contracts, and combined fibre and mobile contracts, it is also possible to purchase the television package thanks to Vodafone TV. And not only that, the television offer comes with a service that many do not know about and that is available to all customers for free. Here’s how to activate it.

Now that the holidays are here, you’ll be thinking about what to do during the summer months if you still don’t have plans to go out and relax after hard days at work. However, there are many ways to entertain yourself, but, without a doubt, one of them is by watching television content from anywhere.

Vodafone brings with it a service called Multi-Device TV for all those customers who have contracted the company’s television in one of its fibre and mobile plans. So, whether you are going out on your days off or decide to spend the afternoons at home fighting the heat with good programming, the red operator has a plan for you that you can activate for free by following a very simple method.

What is Vodafone’s Multi-Device TV service?

First of all, to get Vodafone TV, you must sign up for it through a fibre and mobile package. The cheapest convergent offer is 300 Mbps Fibre plus a 50 GB mobile line and unlimited minutes, and a TV package with more than 40 channels, as well as including Netflix Standard with ads, for 45.49 euros.

Once we have contracted the television, Vodafone offers us the Multi-Device TV service, which consists of having up to 4 devices connected and enjoying 2 simultaneous reproductions. The telephone company also adds that if you want to disable one of these devices, you have a maximum of 5 changes or 5 deletions, whose activity is restored every 30 days.

Also, you should keep in mind that the compatible devices for this free service are smartphones, tablets, computers, Chromecast, Fire TV Stick, and some models of Samsung, Sony, Xiaomi, LG, TLC and Philips televisions.

Therefore, the operator recommends connecting Vodafone TV via WiFi, rather than mobile data, as the connection speed will be much more effective. And if you leave your country, keep in mind that you can use your service in countries within the European Union, including Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican City.

Vodafone activate Multi-device TV

How active?

To activate the Multi-Device TV, you must go to this link provided by the operator. Next, enter your Vodafone email and password, but if you don’t have your credentials yet, you can click on Create user. However, you can also use the My Vodafone app to benefit from this tool.

On your mobile, go to My products and then click on Television. On your computer, from the side menu, click on What you have subscribed to and then on Television. Next, you will find the Multi-device TV section. In the next step, you have to go to Manage your device and select Activate now.
