Beyond the most famous and large operators, there are other entities that, within the low-cost market, enjoy significant popularity, especially in certain areas of the country. One of them, which uses the 5G network from both Vodafone and Orange, has implemented a revolution in its rates.
The telecommunications market is seeing how, increasingly, operators are looking for cheaper options to captivate users. There are some brands that already had a good presence in the low-cost market, but are still looking for a way to improve themselves. That is precisely what the Valencian operator Xenet has done, which has just restructured its rates.
Now there are fewer fees
What Xenet has decided is to follow the example of other telecommunications operators and reduce its rate catalog. Instead of having a wide series of possibilities to choose from and with different price and service ranges, what the operator does is simplify its proposals. In this way, they have only been left with three rates to make it much easier for their clients. In addition, these three rates available improve the performance that was previously provided, so Xenet users have a reason to rejoice.
Although some users may have trouble getting used to the change, since the way in which the rates have been simplified is notable, it is a very beneficial modification. Thus, at this time the Valencian operator is left with only three rates: Xenet-100, Xenet-300 and Xenet-infinito. All rates have unlimited calling, but they vary in terms of the amount of data they include. As you can imagine, Xenet-100 has 100 GB of data, Xenet-300 includes 300 GB and with the infinite rate you will have unlimited GB. The prices of these rates are 5.90 euros, 9.90 euros and 12.90 euros respectively.
Network change
The reason why Xenet has been able to simplify its rates has been found in something very simple: the network change that it has implemented with respect to the service it used previously. Until now, the Valencia operator offered the possibility of choosing to use its service with the Movistar network or the Orange network. But it was a problematic situation, since, with each of the operators, Xenet was offering its clients one rate or another.
Now what Xenet has done is make a change. Although they continue to work with Orange, they have decided to dispense with the network service that Movistar provided them and change it to the Vodafone network. This has allowed them to be in a position to offer exactly the same rates regardless of the type of network the user selects. What’s more, the best demonstration of this change is that now the rate is chosen before the network that will provide the service, so the process is reverse to what it was before. In case you’re wondering, there is only one small difference between the two network options that users can choose from.
This is something simple and, in the long run, it is not a sufficient reason to offer different rates. We talk about the accumulation of gigabytes. While users who select the Orange network will be able to accumulate the GB of their rate, those who have Vodafone will not have that possibility. But, as we say, it is a characteristic that does not have enough weight to influence the availability of rates. In both cases, regardless of whether you opt for Vodafone or Orange coverage, the 5G network is included and there is no type of permanence.
Within what we have seen in recent months in mobile rates, the changes that Xenet has introduced are among the most significant. After all, rates have been reduced and adjusted to make hiring the service much more comfortable.
