In a sector as competitive as that of motorcycles, if you want to get out of the conventional and differentiate yourself from the competition, you have to make radical proposals, completely different from what users are used to seeing. This is precisely what Mikhail Smolyanov has done with Nu’Clear.
Smolyanov is a Russian designer specializing in the creation of custom vehicles and has just introduced the world’s first transparent motorcycle, made of ultra-resistant ballistic glass.
The Russian designer conceived this futuristic, bulletproof motorcycle for the Berlin studio Leo Brutal Motorcycle (LBM) and, thanks to its “transparency”, we can see how all the mechanics work.
At the moment, it is only a prototype, but the Berlin studio is contemplating the possibility of taking the Nu’Clear into production.

You will not find a motorcycle as futuristic as the Nu’Clear, which is bulletproof
The Nu’Clear is built with a totally transparent structure that exposes all its innards. The name of the motorcycle is the result of the union of two terms, new and clear (new and clear in English).
The design is somewhat reminiscent of motorcycles from the 50s and 60s. It uses bulletproof glass panels for a large part of the fairing, as well as the hubcaps, which replace the conventional rims, leaving the nuts and bolts visible. The frame and handlebars are the only parts made of metal.
Combustion or electric
Another of the characteristics of this Nu’Clear, apart from its transparent bulletproof glass, is that it can mount both a combustion engine, boxer type, and electric. In addition, the fuel tank features blue LED feedback so you can see the fuel level at a glance. This means that it does not have a fuel gauge.
On the other hand, the engine is linked to a hydraulic transmission, instead of a conventional gearbox, while the electric version has a hub that receives energy from batteries located inside the fairing.
Smolyanov has made several variants of the Nu’Clear, some with fewer transparent glass panels, others with opaque panels or larger fuel tanks.
