Every month, Prime Gaming provides us with a large number of free games. Users who are fond of gaming on PC have great games to enjoy without paying, as well as indies and all kinds of productions that offer you a multitude of gaming experiences. In the batch of new releases that are being launched in October, among other things, we have many games related to horror and Halloween in general. However, there is much more that you can enjoy if you are a Prime subscriber.

News now available

The month has started with a good batch of games now available that you can get your hands on. Some are as essential as BioShock Remastered, which you can now enjoy without limits, or another classic: Tomb Raider: Legend. For movie lovers, there is another game that is a must-have: Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed Ecto Edition. And the best thing is that you can now play one of the best games of recent years totally free: the wild and brutal DOOM Eternal.

Along with these, there are other games that you can now enjoy for free as we indicate in this list:

  • Hive Jump 2: Survivors
  • Scarf
  • The Eternal Cylinder
  • Spirit of the North
  • No Straight Roads
  • Dread Out 2
  • Priest Simulator: Vampire Show
  • The Gap

Although we have previously highlighted some of the new features specifically, as you can see, in this additional list of new free games there are also very good titles. The best thing is that they are usually games that guarantee a lot of fun, visual quality and high-level entertainment. In addition, some of them provide unique mechanics and an atmosphere that will surprise you, like Spirit of the North.

Upcoming free Prime games

As we are practically starting October, we still have three free game updates left in the Prime Gaming service. The first will be on October 17 and will provide us with five additional games in which, once again, we can see how the horror theme is quite predominant. These games will be Mystery Box: Hidden Secrets, Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness, Through the Darkest of Times, Killing Floor 2 and Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol. Special mention to the latter, which includes both the classic among classics of 16-bit zombies and its sequel, not as well known, but equally popular and extremely fun.

The next update will take place on October 24. It will be time to welcome six more free games. We can already tell you that one of the games will be Gargoyles Remastered, the classic reinterpretation of the Gárgoyles series in the form of a video game that you will love to enjoy if you remember this animated production with nostalgia. Additionally, the other games in this update will be Pumpkin Jack, The Gunk, Stasis: Bone Totem, Monster Train, and Morbid: The Seven Acolytes.

We will end the month on October 31st with five other games that will be perfect for us to continue enjoying the terror and the usual sensations of Halloween. You surely know one of these games, since it is already a well-known title of the genre: A Plague Tale: Innocence. The others will be Death’s Door, Haunted Hotel: Personal Nightmare Collector’s Edition, Scorn and Coromon.
