On August 1, 2022, LaLiga announced that, with this latest formula, the platforms on which the channel dedicated exclusively to the Silver Division of Spanish football could be seen multiplied and that it would be available in, at least, 11 different platforms.

From August 12, 2022, the date on which the first day of the competition began, Vodafone, Movistar, Orange and Telecable were the operators that broadcast the first 11 games, confirming that, later, “from September”, Other operators and platforms (Amazon Prime Video, Euskaltel, R, Virgin Telco, MásMóvil, Yoigo and Guuk) would gradually join the retransmissions, which exponentially multiplied the access of fans to the competition.

Well, now that the ninth month delay has been overcome, we now know when the LFP Second Division will begin to be broadcast on Euskaltel. It will be this week when subscribers to the operator with the new Total TV package will be able to enjoy LaLiga Smartbank matches, which will be available through the LaLiga Smartbank TV channel on dial 62 of Agile TV.

On Prime Video starting in November

Another of the major platforms that will broadcast the competition and is months behind schedule is Amazon Prime Video, the streaming platform on which subscribers will be able to watch LaLiga Smartbank matches at no additional cost, being the first football competition to join the platform of streaming of the e-commerce giant in our country.

Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, confirmed in early October at the ‘Compliance in Sports Law’ Congress, organized by the Higher Sports Council and the Universities of Malaga and the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid, that LaLiga Smartbank will be seen on Amazon Prime Video from November 1.
