After years of pandemic and time changes, carnival returns to the Gran Teatro Falla. The COAC returns to Cádiz in February and, wherever you live, we will tell you how you can see it or follow it every night in January and February until the Grand Final to believe again, one more year and without a pandemic, in the eternal life of carnival.
After a date change in 2022, motivated by the coronavirus and the pandemic, the carnival has resurrected the Tacita de Plata in February. A total of 131 groups that will participate in COAC 2023 in the adult category divided into comparsas, chirigotas, quartets and choirs. And if you want to follow him, wherever you are, you can do so through social networks and official channels.
Calendar, dates and hours
The COAC 2023 began on January 21 and the preliminaries phase will be held until February 4. It is February 6 when the quarterfinals will begin until February 11 and the semifinals will begin on February 13 until the 15th. Finally, the grand finale will be on Friday, February 17.
Every day, from 8:30 p.m. the different phases of the contest begin, although the broadcast, as we will explain in the next paragraphs, begins at 8:00 p.m.
Where to see
If you are in Cádiz or in nearby towns, all you have to do is use the Onda Cádiz channel through DTT. But it is not the only way and it can also be seen in its entirety on the Internet from anywhere in the world: wherever you are, you can see all the COAC 2023 sessions on YouTube. Onda Cádiz is in charge of broadcasting all the phases of the contest until the Grand Final and we can watch it live from its YouTube channel every night. In addition, Onda Cádiz uploads to YouTube, every day, some of the most relevant groups of the day and we can see them again as many times as we want through the video platform.
In addition, Canal Sur will also broadcast COAC 2023, although not in its entirety. that we can choose to watch it online from the Smart TV app or the website.
