March is, among many other things, the month of the Oscars, so Movistar Plus+ could not look the other way and not give us a month of releases of all film genres, including some of the most recognized releases of recent times.
Available on the channels Estrenos por M+ (dial 11), Estrenos 2 por M+ (dial 12) and in the on-demand service for all customers with the movie option, these are the big movie premieres for next month.
Featured releases of the month of March
The month begins with the premiere of Bullet Train on Friday, March 3. This action movie was one of the biggest hits on the billboards last summer, and if you haven’t seen Brad Pitt trying to escape a deadly train ride yet, now’s your chance. Along with Pitt, the actors Joey King (‘Between Two Worlds’), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’) and Brian Tyree Henry (‘Eternals’) are part of the ensemble cast of the film, although the The tape has numerous cameos such as those of the singer Bad Bunny, Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds, Michael Shannon or Channing Tatum.
Tadeo Jones returns with a third installment that will be available from Friday, March 10. One of our Spanish animation productions with the longest international tour returns with Tadeo Jones 3: The Emerald Table. In it, the intrepid adventurer not at all based on Indiana Jones embarks on a new adventure to end the curse that haunts him and his friends. A trip around the world with which to demonstrate that he is a great archaeologist.
On Friday the 17th you have a popcorn session with one of the great premieres of the past 2021. The Dune reboot comes out of its exclusivity on HBO Max and comes to Movistar Plus+ with a story directed by Denis Villeneuve based on Frank Herbert’s dystopian novels. Timothée Chalamet leads a star-studded cast that completes Zendaya, Dave Bautista, Oscar Isaac, Charlotte Rampling, Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem.
Suro is the great premiere of our Spanish cinema. This film, which was nominated for Best New Director for Mikel Gurrea and Best Leading Actress for Vicky Luengo in the last edition of the Goyas, tells the story of Helena and Iván, a couple who set out to build a new life in the cork oak forests that she has inherited, ‘Suro’ reflects on voracious capitalism, on couple relationships distorted by role changes, on immigration, on the precariousness of farm workers and on the double standards of those who believed in their own idealism.
