Under the premise “energy is everywhere”, Juice Technology launches various charging solutions for electric vehicles on the market that will ensure that the lack of chargers is not a problem when getting on the electromobility bandwagon.
The objective is to cover those places and times that the public infrastructure has not yet reached, in order to eliminate what experts call range anxiety and we mortals define as the fear of being stranded without a battery and no nearby point to recharge.
Juice Technology, leader in charging solutions
Juice Technology is one of the leading multinationals in the design and marketing of charging solutions for electric vehicles. Its offer is made up of fixed and mobile AC and DC charging stations, of different powers, with which it covers the needs of individuals and public points. Since 2014 it has been the world market leader for 22 kW mobile charging stations.
One of the hallmarks of its solutions is a consistent orientation towards software, which is what makes the charging infrastructure future-proof. This is the only way that the station can be updated and adapted to future needs without the need to modify the physical infrastructure itself.
The company understands e-mobility as an integrated concept in which the car, charging station, network and energy are connected to move towards an increasingly sustainable mobility model. This is why it has recently created the subsidiary Juice Power, with the aim of offering users hydroelectric energy to recharge the vehicle in real time.
Juice Booster 2, the car goes to the charger… or vice versa
Juice Booster 2 is a portable charging station with two main advantages:
- The first is that, being portable, it makes power accessible for recharging the vehicle anywhere there is a power outlet.
- The second is that it unifies all the charging sockets, in such a way that it eliminates another of the concerns of those who have not yet decided to buy a plug-in: that of not knowing what they need to charge it given the different powers of the available charging stations, since it adapts to all the power outlets of the different markets.
This charger has, on the one hand, a type 2 socket to connect to the vehicle and, on the other hand, it allows you to choose between various types of sockets, in the same way that a USB hub has adapters for the different input sockets.
Allows single-phase to three-phase charging, from 1.4kW to 22kW, with up to 32 amps. This, in practice, means that a vehicle can recover its battery capacity in three to four hours under ideal conditions. It even acts as a domestic wallbox without the need to modify the installation, and it also works as a conventional charging cable to connect the vehicle to any public charging station.
Quality and safety are also two aspects that position Juice Booster 2 above its competitors. The charger is made of aluminum and certified for splashes (IP67 certification). This highly resistant material guarantees correct operation to the passage of vehicles that support weights of up to three tons per wheel, to impacts and to dust.
Special mention deserves the intelligent power control technology that automatically recognizes the type of adapter (among 25 different types) and immediately turns off the charger in case of dangerous AC and continuous power failures.
Juice Charger me, a recharging solution that adapts to everyday life
Juice Charger me is a fixed station designed for charging at home and in private car parks (residential buildings, hotels, supermarkets, shopping centres, workplaces, etc.).
Equipped with the Plug and Play function, it is completely pre-configured at the factory, so it does not require any additional adjustment or configuration to start working. The charging process is verified through an RFID card. If the car supports the Plug and Charge function (ISO15118), this charging starts automatically when the vehicle is connected to the station. It also has a LAN connection to control the load and consumption management system.
The Juice Charger me charger is designed for public and/or private charging and for installation indoors or outdoors. The polycarbonate front is UV resistant and highly impact resistant. It is prepared to work at extreme temperatures: from minus 25 to plus 45 degrees.
In the event that it is going to be used for shared use (in collective garages, hotels, restaurants…) it offers the Master-Slave functionality for the use of several chargers at the same time, so that one of them will take control and will be in charge of equitably distributing the current available to the rest.
