Jeep has thrown all the meat on the grill this week: it has presented its electrification plans and has shown a good number of models that are going to hit the market imminently, in the next year or the next. One of them is the Jeep Wagoneer S, who has put the greatest focus on the SUV format.
And it is that, while other launches have been blatantly off-road (such as the Recon), this is a large SUV, with a more sophisticated design and that points more to a premium market.
By dimensions it seems that we are facing a model similar to the Gran Cherokee, with which there are also similarities regarding the format and general proportions. However, its image greatly evolves the company’s design language.
On the front, in the lower part of the hood, the name of the car appears, just above the usual grille with seven vertical wings, here reinterpreted as holes from which light is projected. Above them, an LED bar is located and extends on the sides, giving shape to the minimalist optical groups.
The bumper sports a large air intake and a chrome finish, which extends through the skirts and reaches the rear. The upper frame of the windows is made of the same material, on which is the black roof, crowned at the rear by a striking spoiler. At the rear, the pilots occupy the entire width of the vehicle.
It is developed on the Stellantis STLA platform, has announced a power of 608 hp, all-wheel drive, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.5 seconds and, although the battery it will mount has not been revealed, it has been confirmed. an autonomy that will be around 644 kilometers.
In 2023, the Jeep Wagoneer S will be presented in its final production form and the first copies are expected to arrive in the United States in 2024, to do the same later in other markets such as Europe.
