Morbius is the new Spider-Man Cinematic Universe held by Sony Pictures and you can see it from Friday, October 21. Starring Jared Leto, she gets into the skin of the disturbing vampire anti-hero Michael Morbius. This origin film will tell us how this scientist who, after suffering from a blood disease and failing to heal himself, became a vampire.
On Saturday, October 22, La Cima arrives, a film that honors mountaineering and that desire to excel of those who practice it by adapting true stories such as that of Edurne Pasaban -the first woman to crown the 14 eight-thousanders- or Iñaki Ochoa de Olza, – who lost his life during his ascent to the top of Annapurna–, among others.
The Bad Guys is another of this month’s animation releases. Starting October 28, you can see this Dreamworks film that tells the story of five famous criminals who face the most important challenge of their career: to become good citizens in the eyes of society. The most feared beings of the collective imagination have the objective of pretending to be good guys to commit their last great robbery, but along the way, each of them will discover who they really want to be.
The last release of the month is Mass, available from Sunday, October 30. This gritty film puts Jay and Gil up against Richard and Linda, the parents of the young man who caused the shooting that took his son’s life. This therapy will be a roller coaster through the emotions of two couples who have seen their lives destroyed after a devastating tragedy, from opposite sides of it, navigating themes such as guilt, redemption, desolation, words like healing, mental health or criticism of the prevailing violence in the United States and the permissiveness with weapons in this country.
New series and documentaries
On Friday, October 14, the fourth season of Ghosts arrives, with a double weekly episode. The series will continue the plots of the third and Alison and Mike have turned Button House into a profitable and cozy guest house.
