Movistar Plus+ continues with its innovations and now makes interactive applications available to its users that are inserted directly into their dials so that it is very easy to take advantage of them. They had been in testing previously, but are now available with the intention of offering users a more comfortable access system to five different services, including one dedicated to the world of sports.
At the end of September it was already mentioned in our forum that Movistar was testing the idea of bringing its interactive Living Apps applications to the dials of its service on UHD decoders. A few days have passed and, as usual, these apps are now definitively available so that users can take advantage of them and improve comfort in their daily lives.
The Living Apps on your UHD disk
Movistar’s Living Apps are already well known among users and the truth is that they facilitate access to services and functions that are very useful. Having them integrated into the dials is an easier way to take advantage of them and be able to squeeze out what they provide. Of course, keep in mind that this launch of five Living Apps dials that we are talking about does not cover all of all the interactive applications that Movistar has.
That means that, very possibly, over time we will see more dials that also make room for other of these Living Apps. It may depend on how popular they become. For now, take note of the five that already have a dial on your decoder: Radioplayer, Live Shopping, Mi Movistar, Smart WiFi and Statistics and Results.
What does each of the applications offer?
The first of the dials that we find is Radioplayer, which is placed at number 122. It is an interactive application dedicated to the world of radio, in which you can listen to dozens of radio stations among which The most famous are included, of course. Music stations and other current affairs stations are combined in two different categories so that you can enjoy the best entertainment in a simple way. Some of the stations available include Cadena 100, Los40, SER, Onda Cero or many regional stations.
Next, on dial 126 we have Live Shopping, where brands like Ikea, which has collaborated closely with Movistar on this type of initiative, offer a different way of shopping. It is an extension of the Teleshop philosophy so that you buy from television. For its part, on dial 211 we have Mi Movistar, the cornerstone of the experience enjoyed by the operator’s users. With it you can have access to everything related to your service and your account, something that, until now, was accessible from your mobile, but which is also integrated between your dials.
If we turn one more dial, at number 212, we find the Smart WiFi app, which is very interesting if you are used to managing your connection settings. It will be a good way to improve performance or have a more in-depth knowledge of how you use your WiFi connectivity provided by Movistar.
Lastly we have Statistics and Results, which is on dial 215. With it, sports fans have a golden opportunity to be aware of everything that happens in the most important competitions and leagues. Not only football is covered, but also basketball and other disciplines. As we already said a few days ago in other news, Movistar is greatly strengthening the way in which it shares results and live data about the world of sports, so this new dial is very welcome. In addition to being able to check the results of the matches, you will also be able to keep up to date with the schedules, sports agendas and even see the publications made on some social networks by entities in the world of sports. Even including a fun quiz game, it has the potential to be a dial you see often.
