Mullen, an American company in the automotive world, has announced that it is going to bring to Europe the Mullen I-GO, a small electric car developed and manufactured in China that is primarily intended for city transportation, with a special emphasis on the which is considered as last mile logistics.
Thus, although it is a passenger vehicle, the company points out that it may be the ideal vehicle for those companies that have to make deliveries in the urban centers of European cities, especially in the old areas, where the small and winding streets allow the most out of the I-GO’s size and agility.
The only measurement that has been officially confirmed is the wheelbase, which is 2.43 meters, but its length cannot be much greater, since, with the wheels brought to the ends, most of the vehicle corresponds to the battle.
It does not particularly stand out visually, as it has a design very similar to what could be expected from any microcar: quite square shapes to be able to generate as much space as possible for the interior, in which four people can travel.
The Mullen I-GO will only be available with one motor, a 46 hp and 102 Nm electric block thanks to which it can reach up to 100 km/h (there is no data on its acceleration). The system is powered by a 16.5 kWh battery, which gives it a range of about 160 kilometers (its recharging time has not been specified either).
At the moment it has only been announced that in Germany, where deliveries will begin in December, its price will be around 12,000 euros, not including taxes or transport. It has also been confirmed that electric cars will arrive in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Spain, although no dates have been given.
