This week we announced a secret rate for MásMóvil in which the operator offers a convergent fiber and mobile rate for less than 30 euros per month. However, its direct competitors O2, Simyo and Lowi also have a similar offer for the same price. Let’s see which of them has better conditions in exchange for 30 euros per month.
Since Orange and MásMóvil announced their merger, several operators have made a move by substantially improving their product portfolio. Some through secret rates and others by expanding the speed of fiber without this affecting the price of their convergent rates. First it was MásMóvil, then Simyo and yesterday Lowi joined. The three have decided to increase their minimum fiber speed from 100 Mbps to 300 Mbps. An increase that has not meant that their customers and future customers have to pay more for it. Let’s see how the offer of each of them is.
Secret rate of MásMóvil
The secret rates are those that we do not find available when contracting directly and MásMóvil has one available until March 13. A promotion that is only being marketed in some points of sale.
The convergent rate that is made up of 300 Mbps symmetric fiber optic (also with the possibility of ADSL connection), landline with unlimited calls to national landlines and 60 minutes to mobiles for the incredible price of 19.99 euros per month for 12 months. Once the first year has elapsed, the price would be 29.99 euros per month. The most interesting thing is that we can add a mobile line with unlimited calls and 20 GB to browse for 9.99 euros. A rate with which you will have 300 Mbps fiber, fixed and mobile for 29.89 euros per month for a year with permanence. Once the promotion ends, the price will be 39.89 euros per month.
100 Mbps fiber and 10 GB for 30 euros with O2
If we look at the limit of dedicating 30 euros per month to our fiber connection and mobile line, Movistar’s second brand offers 100 Mbps fiber and 10 GB to browse the mobile line for 30 euros per month. Both the mobile and fixed lines include unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles and do not require any type of permanence.
If we compare it with the secret rate of MásMóvil, the weak point of O2 is that if we want to have a speed of 300 Mbps we will have to pay 38 euros per month with a 25 GB mobile line. In its favor, it is an option that does not have permanence and that calls are unlimited to both landlines and national mobiles. Although the secret rate of MásMóvil also allows you to add a bonus for 3 euros per month in the case of wanting unlimited calls to mobiles from the landline, which would place your offer at 32.89 euros per month.
Simyo offers less GB on mobile
Simyo has a tool on its website to create customized convergent rates. For less than 30 euros per month we have two options: 300 Mbps symmetrical fiber and a mobile line with 100 cumulative MB, 200 min without landline for 29.49 euros.
The second option is to reduce the fiber speed to 100 Mbps and increase the mobile line to 14 GB and unlimited calls for 28.99 euros per month. Also without the possibility of having a fixed line. Once again, the secret rate of MásMóvil exceeds what Simyo can offer us at the moment.
Lowi increases the speed of your fiber
Yesterday, the MVNO with Vodafone coverage increased the minimum fiber speed from 100 Mbps to 300 Mbps, a speed that was already offered at higher rates. Existing customers will have to request the speed increase through the Mi Lowi app. Those who want to contract a convergent fiber and mobile rate, Lowi’s current offer is 300 Mbps fiber and 10 GB cumulative with unlimited calls on the mobile line for 29.95 euros per month (without fixed line).
In this case, the mobile line does not have permanence, but the fiber does, 3 months. An offer that is very much in line with what the MásMóvil secret rate can offer, matching the speed, but offering 10 GB less on the mobile line. After this analysis we can affirm that the secret tariff of MásMóvil surpasses all the others, although it becomes the one that requires the most permanence and is only available through some points of sale until March 13. Obviously, the rest are also good options that will depend on your needs, such as wanting or not a fixed line at your home or having to tie yourself to a permanence.
