What have been the 10 best-selling cars in Spain in February 2023? For the second consecutive month this year, the B-segment utility leads the ranking.
Registrations in 2023 seem to be going at a better pace than in the same period of 2022. And it is that February has closed with an increase in sales of 19.2% compared to the same month of the previous year. 74,001 units have been registered in the last 28 days within the passenger car and SUV market, and these have been the 10 best-selling cars in Spain in February 2023.
Despite the good results obtained in February, the main associations of national vehicle manufacturers point out that registrations are still 22% lower than in the same month of February 2020, the pre-pandemic period. Regarding the accumulated figure for the year, 138,039 units are already reached, 32.1% more than the previous year, but 24% less than 2020.
From these associations they explain that the increase in registrations is due, in part, to “the improvement in the supply chain and in the production of vehicles”.
However, they also point out that “in the final months of 2022, sales fell due to bottlenecks in vehicle transport, so it is not clear how much of the increase obtained in January and February would correspond to sales retained in November and December.”

If we focus on those that have been the true best sellers in this month of February, we can see that the list is once again led by the Dacia Sandero, which was also the best-selling car in Spain in January 2023. It is followed by the Seat Arona and the Peugeot 2008 as the three models with the highest volume of registrations registered this past month.

Despite the good pace that the Dacia Sandero is maintaining at the sales level, the best-selling brand in Spain is Toyota, with a clear advantage ahead of the second-ranked manufacturer, Seat, and the third-ranked, Kia.
