They are all destined for SEPRONA
That the environmental care unit does not use zero emission vehicles is something, at least questionable. That is why there are many sheep that applaud the latest acquisition of the Civil Guard: 157 electric motorcycles for SEPRONA.
This new batch of vehicles is already part of the fleet of the Nature Protection Service (SEPRONA).
The new electric motorcycles of the Civil Guard
The batch acquired by the Civil Guard is made up of a total of 157 zero-emission motorcycles of the ZERO brand. The model is the FX ZF7.2, with a range of up to four hours.
They include a police kit with rear grill and transport bag, lights and police siren, fist protectors and underbody and side protection.
“It is a motorcycle that stands out for its agility, its economy of use and the ecology of its operation; especially silent, it is ideal for most services in rural areas,” police sources say.
For the purchase of the motorcycles, a total budget of 2,189,000 euros has been invested.
More vehicles for the Civil Guard
Official sources say that the purchase of 157 electric motorcycles “represents a 16% increase in the fleet of these vehicles -motorbikes- and is the largest acquisition that has been made to a police force in Spain.”
The electric motorcycles thus join the last two acquisitions of the Benemérita, which last October received 56 Toyota Land Cruisers and 156 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross; and a month later, 175 Toyota Land Cruiser GX and 11 Renault Arkana Zen microhybrids.
