At O2 they are aware of this and are also aware of the problems that their customers may have if they do not have their terminal properly configured to avoid charges caused by roaming.

Turn off roaming in four steps
Deactivating roaming is the best option we can choose so that our smartphone does not use of the internet connection in the background without our consent. In the case of O2, it is very simple activate this limitation on our smartphone: to do this, the first thing we must do is download the Mi O2 application and log in with our credentials.
Once we have accessed, we must select our telephone line and click on the “Configure your line” button which is located just below the information related to our consumption. When we access this menu, the first option we have before us is Roaming. We will have to access it and we will have two options:
- Data and MMS restriction outside Spain
- Restriction of calls and SMS outside Spain
